Paul is one of the most highly-qualified Financial Planners in the UK. He founded Verus in 2005. With over 30 years experience as an Independent Financial Adviser, Paul’s core areas of expertise include investment portfolio planning, pensions and estate planning. He is a former President of the UK’s Personal Finance Society (PFS); the leading professional body for Financial Advisers, with over 35,000 members.
A former part-time lecturer on the University of Dundee’s Post Graduate Diploma in Professional Legal Practice, Paul regularly contributes to articles and comment in the financial press.
Paul lives in Dundee with his wife and their four children (and two dogs). In his spare time Paul enjoys golf and is a member of The St Andrews Golf Club and Strathmore Golf Club.
He once enjoyed a pint with the King of Sweden (Carl Gustav) in a remote pub in the Shetland Islands!
